Based on their names they sound like black girls although the article does not confirm that, but what is strange is that they apparently asked white people about the river and apparently the white people told these black girls that the river ran in a circle Loop. obviously no river runs in a circle Loop,& doesn't come back to where you started from except at Disneyland or an amusement park, so they [the black girls] should have known better but also that's not very nice of the white people to mislead them. in fact it's very very mean of them, and could have even been deadly have these girls panicked much more. that sounds like a [rural,racist] Michigan thing

YES, I LOVE TRAVERSE CITY MICHIGAN, it is a wonderful beautiful community with so much great outdoor natural areas, ...however, there are some problems there...caused by humans...and sinfulness; so this blog will be HONEST and will cover, as they say, "the GOOD, the BAD, & the UGLY". We will post periodic news articles and commentary about Traverse City, and if we can find them, some of our old photos from some of the great times we've had there. And we continue to come and go. WE are also part of the community. So let's keep making Traverse City a great place and don't allow selfish people, and politically ambitious people, to ruin it.
